In early summer of 2025 I made the decision to run for County Council in Strathcona County. I had concerns and wanted to see change; and I had the choice to complain or do something. I met so many incredible people in the community and was happy to amplify their voices while I ran my campaign. Although I was not successful, I am proud of what I was able to do, and I will continue to advocate on behalf of those in the community where ever possible.
Many people ask if I intend to run again in the 2029 election, and I think that will depend on where I am at closer to that time.
